@chavrons1 I grew up in a military family with my father always away, except for weekends. My mum ran her own travel agency and her normal time for coming home was about 6-9.30.pm. At the time I never had a problem with it and actually? liked the freedom. My mum has since told me (I’m 26 now, moved out @ 17), she now really regrets not being there for me as a mother, like she should have. I too now regret that (too my own surprise), both kinda failed me as parents. Nice people though.

@DiamondRubyJewel The good old days were when peoples main goal was to get married around 20 to a loving husband and have children which were a part of both the mother and the? father genetically. It was a time where mothers placed their children first, not careers. A lot of mothers place children on hold while having a career. Children don’t seem as important as they used to be.

@DiamondRubyJewel What she is talking about are those who place? their careers before having a child. A career is more important to them. Then they get up to the ages of 38 and believe they are missing out on something. In the meantime when our children are at kindergarten their mothers are all around the same age as each other.

@DiamondRubyJewel When i was nursing Diamond, it was fairly pushed not to have children when over 45. Ideally it is much better to have children at a younger age, to cover those years? when we are healthy and active.
